Mark Smith Golf Classic
It’s been a reasonable winter although they never seem to get any shorter do they? Each Spring I hear comments how every golfer is glad to see the back of the cold, wet days on the golf course.
That is why our Golf Classic is located in the early days of your golfing calendar. Friday 8th May to be exact with 2 x shotgun starts, one at 09:30 and the second shotgun start being 14:30. Teams have been entering over the last week or so, so avoid disappointment and put yourselves forward for the first 4 man Open team competition of the year.
All the details are on the flyer, although you contact us here for more information
Smack, Bang, Wallop!
Colin Bertenshaw has stolen this weeks’ headlines in a weekly match between “off course” pals Colin Clarke & Vic Tomlisson. Mr. Bertenshaw managed to hit his Driver from the back tee, which was playing straight into a cold breeze, and the result was the ball finishing exactly where Colin intended it to go, straight into the Hole.
His hole in one helped the defeat on the day feel a little lighter as playing opponents Vic Tomlisson & Colin Clarke took the pound. Congratulations Colin, great shot!
New season, new shoes?
We’ve undertaken some minor shop improvements recently, all ready for the new golfing season. The reason, to cater for the delivery of new stock, particularly Golf Shoes. If you’re considering a new pair of kicks for the fairways, I’m sure we will have something in store to cater for your taste.
Swing room update
The clock is ticking and the swing room is still under developments. We have encountered some small hurdles which we didn’t plan to come across, like most projects put together. I am aiming to have the finest custom fitting experience available within the next two weeks.
Motocaddy remote control trolley
It’s on its way but who will be the proud owner of the first Motocaddy S7 remote controlled trolley? We’ve each envied Clive Barnes for many of years as he strolls his way around the course, flicking the odd button as his trolley reacts to his commands. Well the Motocaddy S7 can offer you just the same benefits for just £799 including a 20AH Lithium battery.
