Vice Captain elect 2015
As mentioned in my previous newsletter, the new Vice Captain elect was announced on Christmas Day at Stamford Golf Club. This time it was Steve Lennon named as the Vice Captain elect for 2015. We would like to congratulate Steve on his election, I am sure he will represent this club to the best of his ability and do the members proud.
The draw for the pro shop Christmas raffle took place just 5 minutes before the Vice Captain elect was announced on Christmas Day.
It was the perfect Christmas Day for Neil White when his ticket was pulled from the hat for first prize, Geoff Slater managed to land himself 2nd prize while Handicaps & Competition Chairman Chris Akers managed 3rd prize.

The ever popular Sunday winter league is developing in numbers, growing from strength to strength. In form Paul Traynor appears to be running away with it at the moment after just 7 weeks. He leads the group by 28 points but I would like to inform all competitors of the 11 weeks that remain! The competition is not over, in actual fact we’re not even at the halfway stage!
