Laser grading tees There has been some work going on from the GreenKeepers shed recently after the annual maintenance programme continued in early October. This involved tees and greens being verti-drained and top dressed followed by a firm rotary brush to infill the holes with the sand/soil mix. All good work from Head Green Keeper John Hinman. This week the Greens Chairman, Martin Dwyer, gave the go ahead to the team to laser grade two tees. A video of this has been posted on the club’s Facebook page but for those who haven't managed to find it, it simply means we now have two perfectly level tees on holes 12 & 18. The process involves removing the existing turf, raking the surface lose and removing any lose soil and then applying root zone for the laser grading machine to drag it around the tee to make it perfectly level. It was quite fascinating to watch and if you haven't already seen the video then click here.
