Primarily I must apologise for the lack of updates regarding what’s happening at Stamford Golf Club. Having a hectic schedule at this time of year, the balancing act becomes difficult but here you have a few things to catch up on.

Juniors make progress

In their bid to defend the BMW challenge trophy, our juniors have recently defeated Rochdale golf club in the quarter final, taking them through to the semi finals. This time around they have received a home draw against Leyland with the match date yet to be confirmed.

Stamford juniors are continuously giving us all the right reasons to write about them, keep up the good work boys!

In last Saturday's Singles stableford, divisional winners Tony Hales & Tony Smith (below, left) make it to the top of each divisional leaderboard with 40 points and 37 points respectively. Also topping division 1 was Josh Ainscough with 39 points but he wasn’t available for the photo shoot

Singles Summer knock-out

It’s an all friends final this time around as yet again, in form - Tony Hales and Kev Duffy (above, right) have reached the final. With the date to yet be confirmed, all spectators will be welcomed to the battle of the buddies.
