Winter League From an 8 point deficit to a 5 point lead in just two weeks. Paul Traynor AKA Mat Man has climbed his way back to pole position having already landed himself 2 Winter League titles (2015 & 2016). With back to back scores of 42 & 43 in week 8 & 9 respectively, with the latter being good enough for a 3 point victory, Paul took full advantage of Steve Moore’s dip in form. Currently sitting at the halfway stage with 10 events remaining, this is where the league really begins to take shape. There are some impressive scoring averages out there including Kevin Bird, Dave Mills, Daniel Cranmer, Marvin Russell and out there in front with a scoring average some 3 shots better than the field is Dave Allman. But it will be Mr. Traynor that supports the Yellow Jersey for week 10 of the Winter series, but it’ll be the next size up that I think he’ll chose to wear.Game on!
