No 2’s I hear you thinking... Don’t panic, it’s good news! The Sunday Shop competition last week returned NO 2’s with a relatively good entry of 28 players giving a return of 21 balls. Those balls will be added to the payout this Sunday making the Sunday shop competition worth playing in!
McClusky makes the headlines..
McClusky Junior takes care of taking the family name to the top of the leader board. Having left the game alone for 9 years, he returned back to the links here at Stamford Golf Club and stole top spot in a matter of weeks. With 41 points in the Sunday Shop competition, he lead the day by 2 shots from in-form Phil Easter who returned 39 points.
Big hitting Jordan, the Professional MMA fighter from Carrbrook, took care of his competitors in a very comfortable style once again.
Having recently taken a course of Lessons with assistant Professional Andy Earlam he said,
“my swing feels good, what Andy has taught me has helped me find the groove again”.

British Open Pro Shop Sweep..
It's back but this time with a field of 156 competitors. The British Open hits Royal Liverpool in 2 weeks today, and to celebrate that we are holding a British Open Pro Shop Sweep. Tickets are £5 per square with a payout of nearly £800!!

Presidents Day..
Another Major goes by as we move halfway through the Summer season. Anthony Sharples this time claiming top prize in the Presidents day with a splendid score of 76 gross playing off a handicap of 14 to return a leaderboard topping nett 62.
Not so good for the runners up, Keith Dockerty & Chris Houfe who both returned gross scores breaking par of 69 & 68 respectively for nett scores of 63.
