Captains Drive 

Congratulations to our New Captain Andy Yeardley & Lady Captain Lynda Monks after their Drive-in Weekend following Friday evenings Annual General Meeting. The weather was a washout and it was quite a miracle the weekend was completed. 

Saturday's winners were Steve Tither & Dave Thurstan with a spectacular 41 points, that gave them a 2 point victory over 5 pairs tied for second place on 39 points. Dave was hot off a lesson and headed straight to the pro shop with the positive feedback. Of the five ties Handicaps & Competitions Chairman Chris Akers & playing partner Garry Foster had the better back 9 to claim 2nd place. In 3rd place was father & son Anthony & John Sharples.

Winter League week 14 

Just 3 weeks remain in the closing stages of the Winter League, our most successful and competitive year yet. Week 14 has found a change in the Yellow Jersey and yet another winner in Kevin Barber. 

The most consistent player of the series and he's followed his splendid form up with 42 points to better a 37 pointer he had previously made, advancing his total to 324 and 4 points clear of second place Chris Exton.
